Mary Beth
Isn't there a line from a song...something about trying to catch a moombeam in your hand. Yeah, well, you could say that about a two year old too. No way could I get her to smile...half the time I couldn't get her to look at the camera...you'll see....these were pictures I tried to take tonight.... I also fixed her hair....once.... I honestly did fix her hair...really I did.... And Heidi made cookies....forget it!!! must we go on....they are pretty much the same. Haylee jumping on the couch....Bama cringing and telling her to "Be careful"...Haylee laughing and repeating, "Careful". Dad knew I was getting frustrated so he helped me get a kind-of smile out of her... Oh, what a night!!
Quilting Heidi
Mary Beth, LOL Haylee is adorable, smile or not! Love her eyes. You and Haylee need to come do cookies with me and Maddie. Oh and by the way Haylee's hair looks just like Maddies does after I do it :P:P! Those darn bangs that aren't quite grown in always fall in her eyes. Thankfully she loves her pony's. Enjoy your snuggles and giggles!

quiltmonkey
Ooooh I can tell that Haylee loves her grandpa! Look how she lights up around him!!! She is as beautiful as ever; messy hair and all. Thanks, Bama.

PattyJo
Oh MaryBeth - Haylee is such a cutie. If her hair was perfect, then what fun would that be???? And I agree with Shana - she just lights up around grandpa. 2 year olds are notorious for being busy and yes, this too will pass. When our one grandson was 2, it took 3 adults to keep him out of trouble. I don't know how his mom did it alone during the day!!! Thanks for posting the pics. You're a great Bama!! Primitive1
What a cutie, don't feel bad about the hair, when I try to braid Abby's hair to keep it out of her eyes, it looks like Pipi longsgocking because those little braids stick straight out..and those little rubberbands that my dtr uses look like those little things we used to use on our braces! So tiny!
Gator
Thank you!!!!!!!!!! She's as cute as a button, love her hair don't touch it. That second side view of her reminds me of the Olsen twins when they were her age (Haylee is cuter).:cool::cool:
Mary Beth
I hope she grows up to have the money they have....without the problems Of course I think she is a cutie...but I love it when everyone else confirms it...then I know it's not just me Thank you all for the compliments. I told Jen you all wanted a Haylee fix and she said, "Oh, they are all so nice." I agree.

My only granddaughter is a Junior in high school so it has been a long time since any little ones were around. Enjoy and give her a big hug from all of us. IQuiltToo
Mary Beth - I think she has your number! She is just precious. I tried to get a decent picture of Kaitlin (4) over Thanksgiving and all she would do is make silly faces! I'll try again Christmas Eve. There is nothing more fun than grandkids. Tyler is 13, Kaitlin is 4 and mom and dad are done. Baby days for us are over:(! Enjoy every minute with this beautifulk little girl! Mary Beth
Thank you all!! I tried everything I could think of to get her to smile. As soon as the camera came out, Haylee started saying, "Cheese, Bama, say cheese." but she wouldn't say it with a smile. So mom and dad tell her that and she thinks you are suppose to say it all the time the camera is out. Kids are funny. I don't think there will be any other children in this family....Jen is too afraid. She get's tears in her eyes if she even talks about it. So we will enjoy this one. Bonnie
She is a pill for not smiling, she knew what was up and was pulling "Bama's leg" and a button for sure....thanks for the fix....and hugs from me as well when you get her cornered again. Mary Beth
She is so stinking cute. When her daddy was ready to leave last night, he had her coat and said, "Are you ready to go?" Haylee started crying (not real tears) and reaching for me and saying "No Bama, no." That made my day!
