IQ'd
My great piecing friend, Joan made this quilt in exchange for a pocket watch and I quilted it in exchange for some design boards! It came out good and I guess the recipient liked it too. You can't see too much of the quilting but I did an all over design similar to the next pic of a different quilt. CrazyAboutQuilting
Beautiful quilt Julia! Both the quilt and the quilting! I really like that overall design. Your second quilt that really shows off the quilting is also beautiful. Was that a pantograph that you used for that design or did you have a design board for that pattern. IQ'd
Thanks for all the kind comments about the quilt! My friend Joan pieced it for someone else and yes she did paint the bedroom to match the quilt! The dog does seem to approve of all the choices! The pattern I used for the quilting is one straight from my head! No pantogragh or design board this time! I wish I had better pictures of the quilting but when I got it done I was too pooped to photogragh it, then the next day I took it to work with me and my friend came and picked it up. This was also the first time I put the binding on by longarm. Sure is better than wrestling the quilt through the DSM! Thanks again for all the kind comments!
