PattyJo
This is the quilt that I had on the frame for the "what do you have on the frame" thread. My customer picked it up earlier today and she loved it. Said my quilting made the quilt - I love it when I hear that. Ok, here are the pictures......... And a couple close-ups of the blocks The body of the quilt is just leaves, the border is leaves, & tendrals and the square blocks are a take off of one of the fabrics that has the flowers in it. Thank you for looking.

Sheri Butler
PJ, Is that all freehand? If so,DAMN girl !! Each leaf looks PERFECT!
PattyJo
Thanks gals, Sheri - yes it is all freehand. Leaves come in many kinds of shapes, so they are not all exactly like the next one. I'm a bit too "free" to make cookie cutter leaves. HaHa
delld
Patty Jo the quiltiing is beautiful and makes the quilt. I had to really look for the stpot, I'm always leaving a stop unquilted. I have a friend that says that is my trade mark. LOL
ffq-lar
Wow, Pat! Perfect choices for that modern quilt. And I am loving your flowers--I can't decide if they are peonies or gorgeous camellias. Great job! I love the "sketchy" look of them!
jmcclannan
Your quilting is awesome. I can see how easy it would be to miss a spot on those busy prints, Love your flowers!
PattyJo
I talked to my customer and she said the spot isn't that big and to not worry about it. It sure is nice to have a customer that is laid back about things. But a good reminder to self to check better before I let those quilts go out the door;)
