witha'K'quilting
Finish bonnie's mystery, roll roll cotton boll? I am close to having the body finished on one that I started. Just curious if anyone here completed theirs. Happy quilting!

Smithsewnian Quilting
I didn't even start it yet, just got it printed off. How pathetic is that? Working full time is the pits and my housekeeping fairy has apparently moved somewhere else cuz it seems that is all I get done on my days off! Must get organized someday..... witha'K'quilting
I have all the pieces made for 2 quilts. One top is nearly complete. The other...i decided I do not like the constant that I chose...so I am going to finish it a bit differently. That one will be a project for another day though. quiltmonkey
I wish I had time to do this sort of thing... with a FT job outside of home that takes up 11 hours of my day 5 days a week, I just don't have that time! And then I have customer quilts to do when I am home... Ugh...! Maybe some day... I will get to play in my studio and piece quilts like this. I would love to make up this RRCB quilt!! Kristina, I would love to see yours when finally finished!
Borderline Quilter
I'm with Shana.....I would love to do this Mystery....have printed off the instructions so maybe one day.......???? uncquilter
Kristina, Like some of the others, I just have the pattern printed out. And I am still working on your mystery quilt! Gotta get those borders on! It looks great though. Carol
Quilting Heidi
Sadly I'm in the same boat as Shana. Rarely do I get to do anything for me and just not free time for fun. :(
SandraC
I was just wondering last night how everyone was doing on their RRCB??? I finished mine on Tuesday night. As I finished, I just couldn't believe it was done! There was sooo much sewing in this quilt. In mine, I used orange where the pink was supposed to go (maybe a bit of mistake there!) and blue instead of brown. Here's a picture.....
SandraC
When I got to the border I was just ready to slap a plain border on it so I could just call it done.....but I'm so happy that I went ahead with the pieced border because it looks great! PattyJo
WOW Sandra - beautiful, but I agree with others here that I don't have that kind of time to do all those pieces. Call me lazy! I don't even work outside the home. But I sure admire a quilt that takes that kind of dedication.
quiltmonkey
Oh--- hey now there, Sandra that is gorgeous! That is one Happy Scrappy!! And good call on using the orange and blue; it really sparkles and pops. Also love the outer border. So..... I'm guessing you are LOVING YOUR BERNINA.... YES??? You two make a fine team. JustSewSimple
Love the quilt!!!! I have TIME to do this sort of thing but I get outdone with all the itty bitty stuff and quit. Wish I were more patient then I'd have a quilt like yours, Sandra!!!
Melanie Rouse
It is beautiful. So much work, but so worth it. Way to stick it out till the end.

kusmaulk
I am determined to finish mine . . . eventually!! Love this quilt. I am temporarily distracted - my parents have moved in with me, and we are working on getting them into an assisted living facility. Taking up a lot of time and energy!! I would post a photo of what I have so far, but my camera is in the hospital in Chicago. It has a piece of dust inside that is showing up in all my photos!! QuiltFaerie
I'm working on step 7. Getting there slowly but surely. Here are a couple of blocks I have gotten assembled.
witha'K'quilting
Sandra yours is beautiful. I love the colors you chose. I already know how I am going to quilt mine..so that is pressing me on to the finish.
SandraC
I'd really like to try something new since this is my own. I think it might be a bit busy for any custom. I would like to try Shannon's Topo design, I think.
Neher-in-law5
For those that are looking for the pattern, I found it through google. Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt. http://quiltville.blogspot.com/p/roll-roll-cotton-boll.html

saratogaquilter
I'd hate to think of all the BOM clubs I have around here that are still in the package. This last one was through my LCS and I've paid for every block!! I have to live to be 150 to get all my project done! I have great intentions and you know what they say about good intentions? "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" I know everybody here is absolutely, positively sick to death of all the snow this country has received, but I want a good 3 day blizzard so I can stay home and quilt, quilt, quilt!! Sorry Madelyn and Lucy!!:D
Neher-in-law5
Sheryl, As long as the blizzard comes the right time, I don't mind staying home either. I'm working on a quilt now that is taking a lot of time to get units made to create the block. Which day do you want your personal blizzard to start? Have the neighbor come over with the snowblower and blow the yard empty but plug up your door so you can't get out!!
saratogaquilter
Madelyn How about I just keep it south of the border. I gotta make sure I'm excused from work. Sheryl
