CrazyAboutQuilting
My youngest daughter is expecting her second child, a little girl any day now and this is the quilt that I created for her. There are 20 embroidered blocks that have designs chosen by my DD. She requested something in purples and she wanted Minkee on the back. The rest of the project was up to me. So this is what I created. I used Quilters Dream Wool (which is the ultimate wool in my opinion ) SoFine and SoFine Variegated on the top and Bottomline in the bobbin. My intention was to create kind of a whimsical feel to the quilt with my block placement and quilting and I think I accomplished that. 100_2031.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2032.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2033.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2035.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2036.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2038.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2041.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2043.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr 100_2046.jpg by fluffy_mar, on Flickr I would also like to thank Heidi for inspiring me with the molar feathers that she had quilted on that cream, green and red quilt a while ago! I LOVED how your quilt looked and determined to master them and I think I have. Thanks for looking.

o2b Quilting
I think you should "borrow" it back for the fair. It is way too warm for her to use it here in July anyway... I can't wait to see it in person in the next couple of days before she makes her arrival.

CrazyAboutQuilting
Thank you everyone. It was such a fun, labor of love. This will be our 7th grandchild, so we will have 4 girls and 3 boys. Our family is growing in leaps and bounds! We are loving every minute of it. Now I am anxiously waiting for the word that she is in labor so I can head over and take care of my 3 year old grandson.
