RMMaynes
This is one of my favorite quilts and I have always wanted to make one.... maybe now that I have quilted one... I will get it out of my system. This one is 96x108 and was on the table for DAYS!! Each white block took 10 minutes to stitch out. I had shown a picture to the customer of using blue thread in the white blocks to make it pop...but then she changed her mind and picked white thread... I didn't want to use even white I would have preferred cream thread so it would show up a little more....but we do what we are asked to. Thanks for taking a look. LindaLou
Beautiful. Mind-boggling. How on earth did you keep track of your path while stitching it out. Were there a lot of backtracks?
HeatherH
Gorgeous, how did you do the design? I am sure we would all love to know how you created this beautiful design. The white thread gives lots of texture and really does look beautiful.
RMMaynes
As for the design in the white block... that is done by my computer and it is really crazy how it stitches it out. There is very little back stitching but the reason that my customer chose that pattern is because it looks like a knot. Thank you all for the kind words. Judy Bland
Beautiful Rose, makes me lust after a computer, I hate to think how long it would take by hand guided. Blue and white is a winner every time, I keep adding to my blue roses stash and one day I'll do it.
