Primitive1
Glad to have finally finished this beauty....it is huge - 104 x 104 and is going to two 1700's log cabins combined into one B&B in Charlottesville, VA... (and it appears that "Buddy" will do anything to get into a picture..) some up close details... quilt center... I actually took a chance and used a contrasting thread to do these feathers and I think it worked..I was afraid they would not show up as well if I used a thread the same color as the background... Thanks for looking....
Linda G. Craig
Vickie, super job once again! You do such lovely work, and I too love your thread choice. How cool is that, that this quilt is going into a cabin from the 1700's -- perfect! Thanks for sharing!

LibbyG
Beautiful feathers, Vicki. When are you going to use the "coutour feathers"?
Bonnie H
It's so pretty, Vicki! As I was looking at the quilt, I thought it was a small quilt (before reading about it), and then I saw your cute little dog and realized it was a BIG quilt!! Are you sure this isn't an optical illusion and the quilt really IS small??? I'm not convinced! LOL But I sure do love those feathers!

Primitive1
THanks again, yes usually Buddy does his part by sleeping under the LA table while I am working and I have to wake him to move him because he seems to always sleep where I need to stand next. He is going on 13 years old so I guess he has earned it. Libby - I am looking for a quilt I can do those coutour feathers on...I think they'd be faster than the bump bump feathers!
