Quilting Heidi
I'm excited about the quilt I'm working on. Not sure if it is because it is for me or just loving it. Hitomi had posted this quilt some time ago and I knew I had to make one. Hoping to have it done tomorrow night.

JustSewSimple
Love it! Now, did you mark those before quilting and if so did you mark them all before loading or on the frame? You rock, girl!

The stencil is smaller than I wanted but the spine fit perfectly so I just ignored the outside feather marks and did my thing. I am marking it as I go and it is working out just fine. I want a table that I can raise and lower to put under the sandwich to give me a firm surface to mark my stencils. I have the extended base but I can't do the whole stencil without moving the head. OK all you tinkerers out there get busy! I'm imagining like a hospital tray that raises and lowers so that you can easily get it under the sandwich. You would have to have the ability to raise and lower it.

dlnewell
Heidi, your quilting looks wonderful! Looks like you are quilting with a computer because I cant see any wobbles in your backtracking! Maybe you can find a used hospital table at a home health supply store. JudithWashburnQuiltStudo
Have you tried clamping a larger piece of plexi glass to your extended base. I have a 24 x 24 that I use and it works for me, I slide it between the batting and top (slowly). I bet it you clamped it with the alligator clips on the back edge of the base it would work well. I will try it to night and let you know.
