GrandmaLKB
I finished this monster quilt this week. It is 86 x 116".........my great nephew is 6'11" tall, so he needed a big quilt. He was very active in 4H and this quilt is made from most of his t=shirts from those times. The sashing fabric is called "tooled leather", the outer border is little cow print and the back is pieced with the "tooled leather" and "barbed wire". Really unique fabrics that my niece found online. I was hoping to deliver it this weekend as we passed through their area on our way over to Chicagoland to visit our DD and family.BUT it seems Mother Nature is going to dump a Major Snow Storm on us Thursday/Friday, so it doesn't look like we will be going anywhere ! DRATS! We were really looking forward to going, as we haven't seen them since Thanksgiving. Boo Hoo.......

o2b Quilting
Great Fabrics!! Too bad you can't take off today and travel ahead of the storm. Sounds like you will get more snow than us (in SE MN) and we are to get enough to make a big mess. Stay safe!!

cathyh
That is a very large t-shirt quilt! I really like the fabrics you chose. I have one for my niece on my Millie right now and am at the what should I do stage, so thanks for the inspiration! My t-shirt pieces are all different sizes like yours so I think an E2E is the right choice.
whitepinesquilter
That is awesome, and I love the tooled leather and barbed wire fabrics! Perfectly fitting it all together. I hear you about the snow. I left W'loo at 7:30 tonight and it had just started there, and luckily I stayed one step ahead until New Hampton. Quite the wind, too. Stay warm and safe.
