Oma
Teresa, just so I understand about the signatures...I should use a micron permanent marker (or some similar permanent marker pen)? Are we all using black? Is there a suggestion as to where the signatures should be and how big? Are you going to put pics of the blocks up for us to see? I've really loved all the ones I've seen so far. I only have 7 more blocks to go...woohoo!
chickenscratch
I don't guess it would matter about the signature color. Some people are wanting to embroider their signature. My micron pen is black/brown, but I may do mine with the embroidery machine also. I still have to make my blocks. Too much family visiting over the last 3 weeks and too many days on this quilt have put me way behind. I'll bet I still have 2 more full days with that quilt. love2qlt4u
Sorry Teresa, I only sent you 21 blocks, sent them before your last post of 22, Oops. You should be getting them Tues or Wed. Thanks, Barb
chickenscratch
Barbara, they actually arrived today. It's okay that you only sent 21. I put a note on your envelope to remind myself that you had one of your own. I'll try not to mess up when I sort them. They are cute, by the way. Love the bright colors. chickenscratch
Guess who is finally getting around to making swap blocks? Nothing like waiting until the last minute, is there? They will be done before the weekend, I hope. My old age is getting the better of me. How many of you wanted two separate flip flops, as opposed to two flipflops on one 12.5 x 12.5 square? Thanks. chickenscratch
Thanks Claire. I think it was Cathy that wanted two different ones, or maybe it was Kristina, or maybe both???

Oma
Two flip-flops on one 12.5 x 12.5 square for me please. I have six more of mine to finish...hopefully I will get a few more done tonight.
JaniceC
One block for me, please. I will be putting mine in the mail tomorrow. I finally finished signing them all this afternoon. Judging by how long it took for the fabric pieces from Teresa and Nevaeh to reach me, it might be as long as two weeks before my blocks are delivered. Bonnie H
Two flip-flops on one 12.5 x 12.5 square is fine by me. I see my package has made it as far as Memphis, Tennessee! Sorry, I didn't send a SASE but I did include money for shipping. You can either use the box it came to you in or another box -- a medium priority box would work. The money should be enough to cover it. Thanks, Teresa!
chickenscratch
Oh, this is so exciting. I love getting squishies in the mail. My husband and the postmaster are going to have a cow though since they are in charge of getting the blocks into my hands.

cmkeindl1
Kristina said 2 different because it reminded her of her kids (she may have wanted 2 separate, I don't know), I said I think that's cute - but 2 of the same on 1 block for me or whatever is easiest! chickenscratch
Bonnie H, your package arrived today and I am so happy with everything that was in it. Thanks for the extra gifts. I know Nevaeh will love hers. These Sunbonnet Sues are hilarious. They are so adorable. Mine is going to take center position in my summer quilt. Oh, and I found the most awesome fabric to make sashing strips out of. I can't wait to put this one together. Then I'm putting it in my classroom which has a beach theme. Here are the blocks so far. Bonnie H
Teresa, I'm relieved to hear the package arrived . I tried to take it to the post office, but they were closed on Saturday when I got there and I really wanted to get it mailed. I tend to be a little compulsive about some things and knew I couldn't mail it until Wednesday if I didn't get it mailed Saturday and it would have been on my mind in a bad way if I didn't send it off! So, I had to go to Mail Boxes & More but they wouldn't insure it. Glad you liked what was inside (and my block) . I didn't realize you teach. What grade? My step-daughter is a kindergarten teacher (her third year coming up--she's 25, soon to be 26). My DH teaches 7th grade. It was his third job career and he loves it. chickenscratch
Bonnie, I have done 5th grade (all subjects), 7th grade reading, 7th grade social studies, 8th grade reading (for 9 years), then last year I became the reading specialist at our school. So now I have 6th, 7th, and 8th graders reading at 3rd grade level or below. It's a challenge some days, but I love it, especially when they suddenly understand something they have struggled with. JaniceC
Hi Teresa, I mailed mine today. Because I am in Canada, I couldn't send a SSAE so I included some US$ in the envelope (about the same amount as it cost me to ship). If it turns out that isn't enough, I will send more. Thanks again for all your work on this, Janice
