ffq-lar
Here's a link to my Flickr account with photos of "Women of Courage". This was a BOM finished by a newbie quilter whose piecing skills are advancing at supersonic speeds. All the patterned fabric and all the colors made for some hard-fought quilting decisions. The only place the quilting had a chance to shine was in the beige triangles. This one had such dull colors and busy fabrics, it was hard to make decisions and then hard to mark and quilt them. She loves it and for that I'm so thankful. Arrow right on the first one for detail shots. http://www.flickr.com/photos/larech/9941087395/
LibbyG
Wow, that's a great quilt for a new piecer. I like the way you quilted the triangle space by dividing it. That's a technique I need to think of using more often.

cathyh
I am working on this quilt!! I am not that fond of the fabrics, and the colors are different in ours, but I love meeting with a great group of quilters once a month so I could not turn it down. Your newbie quilter did a great job! Even some of our most seasoned quilters are complaining about the small pieced blocks! Am how lucky am I to have you quilt it first, Linda!! I love how you have quilted this, proving that quilting really can make the quilt come alive..... Thanks so much for sharing!
