kennan100
Great job Shana-babe! I love the variety of the flowers, and I like the shape of your leaves. I try to draw a leafy meander and I might have one or two turn out round and pointy, then they start getting narrower till they turn into ribbons! I know, slow down and concentrate on the shape! Quilting Heidi
Kenna, I find with Deloa's leaves that the less I think about it the better I do! LOL sometimes I concentrate so hard on it that I can't do a leaf to save my life! I also have to remind myself to keep it big or everything gets smaller and smaller! Tracey
Shana, that's awesome!! I'd be pleased to receive that for Christmas. I love the flowers. Guess I should head over to Deloas site and order the book! LOL
JoleneK
Shana your flower are wonderful - almost pickable Great save on the table runner, you'll be looking for (or piecing) quilt tops to do some more.
Just Sew Simple
You had tons of fun doing this, I can tell. The flowers look like they'd be fun to quilt.
ramona-quilter
Great job on this runner, Shana. I love those flowers. I bought Deloa's Garden book and it makes doing the flowers so easy and obviously, looking at yours, so beautiful. Hey, are you seriously coming to MQS 2009? That will be fun. You will have to take another Deloa class. I am signed up for Deloa's Filling in the Fillers class.

Yes, I have got my MQS classes set and would you believe I'm also signed up for DeLoa's Filling in the Fillers class, too, on Friday morning. I look forward to seeing you again, Linda, and taking the class with you, too!

I just stopped worrying too much about trying to be perfect and just do it. I think it's way funner this way, don't you? Just keep playing and don't be afraid to try. You can do it if I can. I just tell myself "It's not the end of the world...it's just a quilt and this quilt does not define who I am as a person." This way I just let the inhibitions go and I am free to do whatever and hey, if it doesn't come out quite right I can stop and rip out a few stitches with my trusty dental pick. But I try just to go with the flow.

RitaR
Very nice job Young Lady,, it's really pretty. I use a table runner that is just too wide, even for our wide table, to drape across the back of the sofa.. looks pretty good there. RitaR
