Front Porch Quilting
She was around last week and then just takes off without a word! She missed a shower last week cause she left without checking the calendar...I get so frustrated when she leaves without telling me. And never says how long she will be gone, how rude! If anyones sees her will you please tell her that I am lost without her and send her back here...Remind me what is fabulous again about being 50 something??? I forget:P:P:P:P
witha'K'quilting
With 7 seven kids....MEMORY often runs away from me. She is hard to catch at times. Roxanne, I feel your pain, and I am only 30 something. I keep hoping things will improve with age. Now you have me worried.
RitaR
Memory deserted me about 3 years ago. She had the nerve to tell me I was making her work too hard... can you imagine that? Geesh.. What nerve. Now what was I going to say? I can't remember. RitaR

I know that my husband bought me a Blackberry to help remember things, especially with work... Now where did I put it...:P:P
Quilting Heidi
Sometime I wish memory would run from me...like this morning when I woke from a very nice sound sleep because I remembered something about work! anita
I think we'll find her at that quilting commune we talked about some months ago...just waiting for all of us to show up with our stashes, spouses, fur babies and quilting systems! Hollyrw
I don't think Memory likes me very well. Every time she sees me she runs the other way.

cmoore1223
She left me sometime in my 20's. My mom used to ask me what I was going to do when I got old...... I'd tell her......."I don't know, I won't remember."
quiltmonkey
Memory? Sounds familiar, and her name rings a bell...but I don't think I've ever met her... Have I? What does she look like?

Kueser
Don't worry Heidi, without sleep, you too will not be bothered by that pesky gal.
dnice
Is that the reason Memory leaves... no sleep. No wonder my DH wants me to try to work an 8 hour day in place of the 12- 14 16 hour days with covering both days and night shifts. :D:D
LeeAnn
Yup, at our age we worry more about the hereafter. We walk into a room and wonder what we're here after! LOL!

I have to write everything down or call my vm at work to remind me of something I gotta do the next day...otherwise it's "huh? what was I supposed to remember?" So, from now on, remind me to remind you to remind me... otherwise...ugh!

bobbi
My Grandma Pearl used to say: "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!" I have plenty of "memories", in little compartments in my head, but I think I lost the key! It's sad when you have to write yourself a note just to go to the next room!!!! ffq-lar
I thought I was haunted. Every time I bent over to pull weeds, I heard a very strange noise behind me. Scared me big time until I realized (like Bonnie) that I was activating the cordless phone I had stashed in my back pocket. Look Ma--no hands!! I wonder who I was calling with my behind?
