Bonnie
I don't think even a gun would help this poor thing....I'm thinking more on the lines of a MATCH. You can only work so much of a miracle and then it become their problem....and this is more than one can handle....if you put a tuck in this border its going to really look crappy. hollyc
sIT looks like she did a 60 degree angle instead of a 45. Big pleat will fix that sucker right up...gulp. So sorry. Call her and make her fix it first?
CWBowser
That is so sad. I just put borders on a mystery quilt that I did back in the spring. They were to be mitered and I do not like doing them. I measured and frogged and they are perfect 45 degree miters. It takes time and obviously the piecer didn't bother to take the time or use a ruler with a 45 degree line for accuracy. You are too nice to fix it for her. Neher-in-law5
Shannon, thanks for fixing that corner (and the other one). I have had some that do that to me and yes, it is a pain to have to redo them, but it sure beats having too much fabric there than not enough. Disclaimer: no that is not my quilt! Mirabelle
Just one silly question... Why is it always the quilters fault and not the piecers??????? and why do we have to fix so many problems. I guess this is why I don't quilt for others if there is a problem its my fault:P:P You did a fab job of fixing it Shannon, standing ovation for you;)
