Judi
I love what you have so far!! Less IS more ~ you have the right idea! Yes - be sure to post a finished full photo - your fabric colors are great! I want to see more! What a wonderful idea to plop that square-on-point in there - awesome! p.s. I like the lines inside the circles too, here is one idea that I thought of, but I do like it as is, with the SID between the blocks of course.... sewlinzi
I can only see a tiny bit on my phone and it looks great, Jannette!
njquiltergirl
Very cool, very modern. Love it! I agree, another circle echoing the one you did is a good idea. Maybe the 2 big circles would touch and make another design.
dlnewell
Janette, I love the quilting. IMHO stitch the ditch between the blocks and maybe circle around the pieced circle like everyone else has suggested. This is going into my favorites. Janette
Well it is finished now, and I decided to leave the background as it was. I am going to embellish around each circle with silver cording if I can get hold of some. I enjoyed making this, as it was something very different for me. Janette
A bit closer ....... ignore the wet patches, that was when I got the blue pen off !!!
Janette
Oh OK then one more .................... I used the CL Tiles template in the large circles, I used a multi use ruler for the straight lines, and around the circles, and freehanded the pebbles. I used superior metallic thread in Silver. Neher-in-law5
Ohhhh! Janette, that is a very pretty quilt. The colors and fabrics sure make the top sing, and the quilting enhances them so very well, but the back is truly a work of art. You now have a choice of which side you want to display. Thank you for sharing each of those pictures.

Borderline Quilter
It's great Janette... If I had a sofa against a wall I would hang that in a landscape direction above it...it would make a great focal piece!
Janette
Yes, if I have space behind my machine, I may hang it there. Although suspect not quite enough yet !!! Landscape is a good idea, thanks.
