Hooterville quilted

Recommended Posts

I LOVE this little quilt. It's so bright and happy. I kept the quilting very simple...sid...swirls...and a flower border with some 1/4 inch piano bars out. I doubled up on some QD so it had some "puffiness". The back is Minki...which I SPLURGED on at the LQS and paid $20 a yard for. That was hard, but it was perfect for this quilt. Soooo soft. I think it took about a yard and a half. OUCH!!!!

Oma yours is such a cute one! I'm just starting a Hooterville, have all the components cut out, but wasn't sure which way I want to stitch it down, blanket or satin, until I saw yours. I love your satin stitching! Please tell me, did you do all this on your sewing machine on your own or did you digitize the satin stitching? Your fabric choices make the quilt even more darling.
