victoriasews
One thing I love about my job is that it brings something different every day. Today, for example, one of my faithful customers brought me this little baby quilt and asked if I could do it before the other quilt she had in line and I said, "Of course". After a bit of chatting, she told me she had been at her son's house putting up horseradish. Well, my family loves horseradish and i asked her if she thought a jar of freshly made horseradish would be an acceptable payment for the quilting on her baby quilt. She was delighted and so was I. In my eyes, it was a good trade. In the past I have traded quilting for hand knitted socks, a custom queen bringing in 3 pairs of socks. Anybody else receive such fine payment? Anette D.
Forget the horseradish--the quilting is beautiful. That quilt just dances. Beautiful job. Someday, I'll post one of mine--just have to get good enough to share. Anette D. amdquilts@yahoo.com;)

Littleshoes
Love those swirls.... great quilting. good trade too. I remember sitting on the back stoop at my parent's house grading horseradish. We would take turns til your eyes would water too much and you couldn't stand it! Now they have wonderful food processors for that. So much for technology and fine conveniences.

shirleyl
I have done numerous trades, my last one was a really good discount on a roof. One of the owners wanted a quilt quilted and my daughter needed a roof. It was a win win in my opinion. Shirley

ffq-lar
I have bartered quilting for a huge appliqued top, another job for ten yards of Daiwabo fabric, and another for housecleaning. The housecleaning was my sister who insisted, although I don't charge her for quilting. I was happy to accept her offer!
anniemueller
Love the quilt! I've traded quilting for computer troubleshooting. And for hand sewing my bindings.

victoriasews
I was unable to find this pattern in paper. It is designed by Patricia Ritter if that helps. Intelligent quilting no longer does paper.
