chickenscratch
Here are a few pictures of our next show quilt. It is a long way from done, but i wanted to share with you all and see what you think. The borders total about 15" so I had to break them up somehow. I also had to create a center motif since I had CL issues.

chickenscratch
Thanks everybody. I'm pretty pleased with it. I was really worried about using the greeen on the top and the ivory on the back, but the tension stayed good most of the time and it turned out okay. She didn't like that there were green threads showing on the back every here and there, but they weren't loopies or pokies or anything, just little peekaboos . I told her they would probably go away when she washed it. Hopefully the batting will fluff up or something when she washes it. It was the worst batting I've ever had. There were a couple of really thick, lumpy spots, and some so thin it was almost non-existent. It was SewPerfect brand, not sure where she bought it

DoryJM
Teresa, its beautiful. Your quilting is so nice! Did you freehand the feathers in your triangle "blocks" or did you mark them before quilting. I love how they look.
