Chocoholic
I think it is Tuesday night where Shana is as well, as it is Tuesday night here and she is either in the same time zone, or 1 earlier, but in either case, it is after 5pm, so that makes it night, right?? quiltmonkey
Hi OK here is the finished quilt. It was super fun but took forever. I quilted it like the customer wanted -- the way they look in the pattern photos - echo quilting around the applique and a little detail quilting in the houses, doors, roof, etc. Then I did a little feather motif in the narrow red border and the outer green border I used my Off the Edge heart template and then did freehand swirlies as the background fill. Lots of thread changes. The heart designs took forever; lots of starts/stops. Why I do this to myself I don't know but it looks cute. Plus my customer Paula always gives me beauties to quilt for her so I wanted to do an extra specially nice job.

quiltmonkey
DeLoa's Appliguide Ruler ROCKS on the echo quilting. :) It's a great way to keep control of your hopping foot and zoom around the applique.
