nqa prayers needed UPDATE

Recommended Posts

While in Bloomsburg visiting her fiance our daughter Samantha and he were in a car accident. They were at a light turning left and an old lady came from behind them on the left side and hit them broadside. She hit them so hard that both front seats came off their bolts and were push into the passengers side of the car.

The old lady was dead at the seen. The fiance, Josh, also our sons name so people get confused, has a broken arm, fractured pelvic and lots of cuts from the broken glass. He is also complaining that his neck hurts and they are goign to redo an MRI in the morning.

Samantha has a broken ankle, wrist and also lots of cuts from the broken glass. She has a huge bruse across her tummy from the seat belt. She also has a brush burn from the air bag. They have her in a soft collar neck brace just as a precaution.

The state tropers have told us the lady that hit them did not have a drivers license, her family had taken it away from her last year. But, some how got ahold of a set of keys. It wasn't her car and not registered to a family member. So, at the time they talked to us they didn't know how she got the car. They who it belonged to but, wouldn't tell us who that was.

The family members did try and come and talk to us this afternoon, but we were advised by the troopers not to talk to ANYONE but our lawyer on Monday.

Samantha is being kept over night, and her fiance will be in until at least Monday. They may still have to put a plate in his arm, but we won't know until tomorrow.

Randy and I are home now. Going to get a few hours sleep and head back to Danville tomorrow. It has been a very LONG day.

If you could please send up a prayer for them all, I feel so bad for the drivers family they must be suffering also.

Thanks headed to bed.

Hugs

Oh my--hugs and prayers for all involved. Wow--what an ordeal. Take care of yourself as well, Penny. This awful accident will be a mark in many peoples' lives forever. Your daughter and fiance will measure events "before" and "after" the accident for years ahead. And of course the family of the other driver will always remember and and be sad about the day.

You have proven to be strong through a lot of adversity. Your family here is behind you.
