Wannabelongarm
Customer quilt that is going to England - wedding gift. I learned so much quilting this quilt - how to tighten up my encoder wheels, really looooooosening up the sandwich to control the bias cuts of the quilt, trusting visual 'squaring', and using templates for the curves. I didn't quilt in the yellow as I basically ran out of time, but it allows the yellow to pop a bit. Still have some machine adjusting to make the back look perfect, so will tackle that today. Her label read "May you be wrapped in love forever" along with names, dates, etc, but I loved the saying for a special quilt. ffq-lar
What a beautiful and meaningful quilt! Your hooked feathers are perfect. Great use of the large-print bouquet fabric in the piecing--I will save that idea for sure. I am forever in love with blue and yellow quilts and this one is stunning!
