Beachside Quilter
Here is thread cabinet my DH just completed for me. He repurposed a display cabinet by adding swing-out doors to hold thread spools. Both sides open to reveal narrow glass shelves across the back of the cabinet. Full-length glass doors on the front to keep thread dust-free. I am so excited to have all my threads together and sorted by color!

The black and glass really bring the colors out. Is your machine going to get a makeover to match?
Anne from Guam
I love looking at the thread colors all organized. It is so nice that there are doors on that cabinet. What will you keep in the drawers?
Beachside Quilter
Originally posted by DoryJM I love that Vickie...where did you get the display cabinet?? Dory, the display cabinet was in our son's room; it's 80" high x 40" wide x 18" deep and had large glass shelves. I kept staring at it trying to figure out how I could use it for thread and my brilliant husband decided to add the swing out doors to make it easier to access the threads. It is also lighted inside and has mirror on the back.
