lisae
Here's a quilt I just finished for a friend. She does beautiful applique. This is the quilt that gave me fits with the black bobbin pulling through to the top in the yellow batik. I ended up ripping the background of an entire block and quilting with matching thread top and bobbin. It was fun to quilt after that! I used primarily Glide thread top, a little bit of King Tut, Magna Glide Delights bobbin. Double batt, Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 and Hobbs Wool. She wanted fat chickens! DoryJM
Oh, Lisa...your quilting is terrific and the quilt is so cute!!! I used to match top/bobbin thread to the fabric, but then had customers complain. They actually wanted the quilting to show more on the back, so now, I match my top thread and if it doesn't match the back, oh well!! I love all the fill stitches you did and your feathers are gorgeous!!!
