ffq-lar
I love two color quilts and blue and white is my favorite. This one has controlled-scrappy stars and some nice space for quilting. My customer had plans to hand quilt it and seemed reluctant to leave it, wanting the quilting to look as much like hand quilting as possible. I gave the talk about how difficult that was, but offered her several options. She wanted as little quilting as possible. I sold her some W&W batting, letting her know after the quilt was laundered and crinkled up she would be happy with it. I stitched BIG (the blocks are 17") square feathered wreaths with a scroll added to fill the spaces. The blue stars were CC'd.

On Pins and Needles
Oh Linda, this is gorgeous! I have to ask, when you do a design like this do you mark it first or just wing it? It's just beautiful and perfect for this quilt.
