I just found out that my son's quilt, Rainbow Escape, is published in the Aug/Sept 2012 "The Quilter" magazine right next to Claudia Pfeil's masterpiece, Turtle Bay! His quilt is on the far right and is the one with all the bright colors. The pattern is "Fire Escape" by Terri Atkinson (my favorite pattern designer). I've been to three stores so far trying to find it and I'm headed to 2 more stores later today. I hope I can track it down! He is going to be so proud! I hope that you find lots of copies of the magazine:) It might be nice of Nick to drop Terri a note and reference the magazine and picture. I'm sure that Terri will be both pleased for Nick and appreciative of proper attribution of the pattern. Like you, I love her designs and her clear pattern directions.
