Borderline Quilter
Just for fun..........I started this little quilt (approx 20x15 inches) a couple of weeks ago as a piece of plain taffeta, quilted a 'doodle do' on it and spent a few evening playing with different pens, pencils and paints to try out different techniques.......more info on my blog....http://borderlinequilter.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/jumping-through-hoops.html Jumping Through Hoops.... by Borderline Quilter, on Flickr Thanks for looking.... JudithWashburnQuiltStudo
Very nice. Did you quilt then put in the color or color then quilt. Is there a book you learned from if so, what is the name? I think this would be great gifts and alzhimers quilts. Also, what types of paints were in the gold tray. Primitive1
Beautiful little art quilt! Very interesting to look at....I'll bet you had fun with it. So when are you coming out with a video or book on how to do this? I used to paint when I had time before I got into quilting but am not sure what you would use on fabrics.... meepop
You should consider entering it in a show! It's wonderful!!! I've seen Sherry Rogers- Harrison's work on the same order, she quilts a white top, then colors it in black! I saw it at Hershey I believe and it was stunning. I love the color in yours!
