Dyan
My mother passed away in the 70's, but lucky for me she passed down her love of sewing and quiting to me. she made all of my clothes and made quilts for all of us too. anyway, last year I was cleaning out a closet and found this box of mom's that was filled with a quilt kit. She had started some of the squares. At that time she only had 1 granddaughter, that is now my oldest neice, who now has daughters of her own. I decided to finish the quilt and give it to my neice's oldest daughter along with a picture of my mom holding her mom (my mom's 1st granddaughter). They were all very happy and there were a few tears the day I gave it to them.
