Mirabelle
Thanks for your nice comments. Kristina I think I have used about 10 yards of calico practising my feathers, I was even praticising in my sleep:P:P So that is why I am so tired, have to turn the brain off when I go to bed:P:P
witha'K'quilting
Karen, your practicing certainly paid off. Do you know where this mystery pattern came from? I would love to do it.
Mirabelle
Kristina it was off a website, think it was Planet Patchwork or Inspector Cluesew or one of those, it was about 4 years ago she made it. (can't rush these freebie quilting jobs:P:P) Will go through my files and see if I can find it. Bear with me, I am about to go to the movies, going to see Meryl Streep in Julie and Julia. Will definitely look for it in the next day or so.
roberta
Karen - You inspire me to try feathers too. I have some old sheets all cut out and ready for practice. They have been sitting there for months. I need to just jump into it like you, though I have to say I have the quilting dream problems too, ha ha.. you should see the quilts I make . I think your dream practice has really paid off. I would love this pattern too, if you know where it came from...
