Cheryl Q
I am thinking about purching a long arm quilting machine. If I get a 10' table will I be disappointed I don't have the 12' or 14'?

jeri
Get the longest table that you have room for.
quilterbee1
I have a 10' table and I wish I had a 12'. Big enough to do big quilts but still fit anywhere in the house....with some re-arranging. Don't get the 10'. Amie
s.waits
I have a 14' table and kind of wish I had a 12'. I love the fact that I can do any size quilt I want, but the longer table takes up a lot of room, and I don't have any extra to spare. If you have plenty of room, go for it. If not, consider the 12' table.
RoseCity Quilter
I have the 14' and LOVE it. I am never limited to the size I can do, and I use the ends of the table to set stuff I use all the time!
Guest Linda S
I have a 14' and I also love it. Considering that the last three quilts I've done have barely left me enough room to get the machine off the quilt, I'm very glad I've got it. witha'K'quilting
I had a 12' and traded up to a 14'. A bit tight at times in the room I have...but still loving it!
cjtinkle
Definitely get the biggest table you can fit. I went from a 10 foot table (different machine) to a 14 foot with my Milly, love it!
Quilting Heidi
If you can fit a 14 ft get that you won't regret it. I have a 14ft and am amazed when I fill it up!
Primitive1
Me too - I have the 14 ft table and have never regretted it!!
Stagecl
I had a 14 ft table, went to a 12 ft table and I don't regret it. I can fit a 14 ft table in the room, but 14 ft table consumes so much space. I haven't had any problem quilting any quilt. Just if you get a king sized quilt the space on the sides is tight. I had a business for 5 years and maybe quilted a king sized quilt 3 times.
Mary Beth
Had a 14' and loved it....if I ever do it again would get a 12'. A few times I needed the 14', so like everyone has said, if you have room...do it!
Pennyquilts
I had a 12 foot table and now that I have a 14 foot table I won't go back. I love IT!! Although we had to remove a wall so that it would fit in my sewing room

GrandmaLKB
If you have the room, go for the 14' !
Tracey
Go big or go home baby!!! I have the 12' and I wish'd I'd gotten the 14'. Checked in with Gammill about changing out the table.....holy ^$% they wanted my old table (only 2 years old by the way) and 2400.00!!!!!!! Oh well, live and learn. Get the 14' Tracey
Norma H
Echo the others - get the longest table you can fit. I have 10' because it fit in my other home. I moved and have room for a 14'. As soon as I can afford it, I'll upgrade (Blissed of course ).
anniemueller
I got the 12' and wish it was 14'. Get the longest table that will fit in your space!
yankiequilter
Get the longest one that you can fit into your space. I had an 11 foot (APQS was kind enough to accommodate my request for odd size), and it wasn't long enough to do the things that I wanted to do. I traded it for a 14 foot, had to make changes to my room and the space is small where I walk around it, but am very happy with it. If you decide at a later time that you want your table shorter you can have it cut down and welded.
Cheryl Q
Thanks for all the advise. Right now the room I might have the machine in would fit a 12" table. I would have to go in the closet to get around it. I have thought of removing a wall, then I would have a nice studio. We shall see.
JustSewSimple
I had a 10 and moved to a 12 and I really like it. I have never needed a 14 but I don't have room for that size. The 12 is rocking here at my house!
Butterfly
I think you'd be disappointed with a 10' table. I have a 12' and have been able to do even the king sized quilts that have come my way. If, one day, I receive a quilt that's too big, I'll just say "no" to the customer. But so far so good. jans
I have a 12 foot. It fits in my room with a few feet on the end to walk around it. So far it's been totally fine. Haven't missed having a 14 footer.
Calicoquilter
Cheryl, I got the 14' table and I have been sorry. I thought it would fit in the room because I had a 16' space. It turned out that the footprint of the machine is actually about 2" short of 16' and I wouldn't have room to get behind it. Just because the rails are 14', that doesn't necessarily mean the table is 14' long. Be aware of what the actual dimensions are before you order. Right now, my machine is in my living room because it doesn't fit anywhere else and I really don't want it there.
