RoseCity Quilter
Finished this for my friend and customer Susan Strong. She pieced this from the book We Love Color by Susanne Woods. My quilting was inspired by Angela Waltersnand her book Free Motion Quilting with Angela Walters, a fabulous book... witha'K'quilting
I just bought angela's book last week. I would have to say that you did a fabulous job quilting this fun quilt. It looks like you nailed some of her designs. Love this!
Linda G. Craig
Very cool quilting, Ardelle! I really love all that texture. I agree with you, Angela Walter is an amazing young quilter. I took her class on Craftsy on quilting negative spaces and really enjoyed it. Kathy from Tamarack recommended it. Happy stitching!

srichardson
I have both books and I will be taking a class from Angela Walters at Road to California. I love the quilt and your quilting, you have certainly got the hang of the modern designs.
Sandra Darlington
Ardelle, I love the way you quilted this. I took Angela's class on Craftsy a few months ago, and also bought her book. I pieced a quilt similar to one of her examples, but haven't had a chance to quilt anything of my own lately.
Tracey
That looks terrific! I would like to piece something like that just so I could quilt it
Wannabelongarm
Great job, Ardelle, haven't seen this book, but will look for it now! Had a great time at the workshop in Leduc last Friday and Saturday. Roger does a great job teaching, and is so relaxed about everything. My two friends, who are new quilters, really had fun, too. WestieMom
Love this quilt Ardelle! Love all of the fills in those large spaces! I would like to take Angela's Craftsy class and her book is on my wish list. Wish I was closer to retirement...work is definitely interfering with my quilting time! Thanks for sharing. CindyT
Those big spaces would have intimidated me, but looks like you nailed it! So much texture and looks like you might have had fun with all those new techniques!
Prairie Quilter
Beautiful quilting, Ardelle! I love all of the texture you added. I, too, have taken Angela's class on Craftsy and love her designs. I'm just too chicken to start the one modern quilt top I have in the queue! You've given me a much-needed nudge in that direction!! cathyh
Well, I left out the "fun" as in "ton of fun" in my previous post. I am going to look for Angela's class on the craftsy website, which I only just discovered.
