JoleneK
This customers quilt, Curvaceous Cabins, is just off the table. I use Sue Pattons Java Panto with Botton Line thread top and bobbin. Hope the true colors come out in the photos.

Boni
Are those log cabin blocks actually cut and re-sewn to make the contrast? I love your quilting--like ferny feathers again. Love it, love it, love it!

JoleneK
Yes Boni, she make the log cabin blocks, stacked a light and dark on each other, cut with a curve and resewed a light to dark. This particular customer doesn't get out of her block much so she said it was very difficult to fathom cutting perfectly good blocks up. It was a retreat class she took. THe color didn't show up very good. She used deep purple fabrics and dark Fossil Ferns fabric by Benartex
Bonnie
I really like you customers quilt...I've never seen one with curves before. I too would have had a bit of trouble getting our of the box and cutting them.

Boni
Yikes, that would be out of my comfort zone too. Piecing them back together--I wouldn't have much hair left. Thanks for posting. And tell your customer we think she is a very brave quilter.

Judi
Very nice quilt though - and your quilting is Great!!! I saw a similar one at a local shop, but the light block was different, not a log cabin. I would like to try this as well, but would have a hard time doing it I think!! Thanks for posting the photos - love them!!

witha'K'quilting
Jolene...this quilt is very pretty. I have wanting to do one like for a while now. You are motivating me. Your quilting is perfect. The overall panto was a nice choice. Anything else would have probably either overpowered the quilt or been lost. There is nice texture to this quilt. Thanks for sharing.
