Next one is being organized right now... http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=16361&page=1#pid188693 All blocks 12 total must be in fall colors, 12 inch finished and all posted in a picture and sent to Teresa and she will send you twelve back. You have either a choice this time of a BLACK or MUSLIN background with the fall colors. Hurry and get in I think there is still room, but Teresa will let you know for sure. Sheri Butler
Karen, your quilt came together BEAUTIFUL! And, I LOVE your idea for the label. You must own an embroidery machine. I'll have to pay a friend to do something like that for me on the label. Awsome, simply awsome!
Hollyrw
Karen, that is beautiful. I love the way you set it. We have a lot of the same blocks. I was thinking of using the extra Sunbonnet Sue as my label as well but I didn't quite know what to do with it. I love what you did with it. Sandra Darlington
Wow, Karen...I love the way you put your blocks together. The sashing colors are perfect and the 9-patches really add to the interest. The Sun Bonnet Sue block for your label is such a great idea, too. Please post pictures after you have it quilted. Mirabelle
Thank you for the kind words everyone.':) Sheri I do own an embroidery machine but the label is just done by hand with a permanent marker. I chose a really nice font and printed everyones name and state up on the computer and then spaced them either side of Sue. Cindy Lowe sent me the Sunbonnet block and I wanted it to be part of the quilt so big thank you to her. I also spent a lot of time googling 1930's quilt and a lot of them used bright pink in the sashings. Had the pink so voila my quilt was organised. Now to find time to quilt it..
