Belbelle
I just got this one finished for my niece's wedding this afternoon!! I used pre-printed Baltimore album-type blocks, then quilted the heck out of them. Also used my Circle Lord for the feathered wreaths. Given that this took a full week to quilt, I'm glad I didn't try to do the real appliques - - they might have received it for a 10th anniversary gift instead! IBQLTN2
Julie You did a great job with all that background fill on the Baltimore blocks the wreaths are wonderful and you are right the applique would have taken another 10 years. I have Baltimore blocks that have to be getting close to 8 years old. One day I will just put them together and quilt as is with no applique borders, otherwise it will be another 8 years. Love it and I am sure they will love it as well.
quiltmonkey
Absolutely gorgeous! I like the look of off-white/beige allternate blocks with the white backgrounds. Very classy and a perfect wedding gift that is surely to be used and treasured. The antique brass bed is lovely, too.
