quiltaholi_518
I know that the last quilt I posted was not very good, as far as showing the quilting detail. I hope this makes up for it. I have had this on the burner for a while. I always wanted to do a machine embroidered project. First, I picked out the embroidered motifs. Loved the sort of 60's look. Then the border fabric. Then the bubble theme just sort of took over. I felt like it was out of my hands as far as the design. It just became what it wanted to be. Enjoy! A couple more on webshots... quiltaholi_518
Thanks for the kuddos! Threads were So Fine. I used Nymo belbobs on the bottom, they take on the color of the quilt. I should take some pics of the back. That's pretty cool too. I used Hobbs Poly-Down and the only regret that I have is because the batting is not dense, you can very slightly see the mitered seam allowances in the corners. I would, in the future, add a cotton batiste on top of the backing to give it a more white appearance.
