dtreusch Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 I learned yesterday that my son and his wife are expecting a baby next April. Yah!!! this will be the first grandbaby. She wants a girl. He wants a boy. I'll take either. They are in Sioux City 4 hours away. They've thought about moving to Des Moines. I'm hoping this will push them over the edge and finally make the decision to move here. Otherwise, I see lots of 4 hour trips in my future. I have 3 grands on the east coast and one on the west coast as we sit here in the middle. Although we have 4 here, we don't see them enough to be tired of them. Mary Beth, my dtr is finally doing so much better and has even started to work for the Home Health people that helped her get through her morning sickness! How is Jen feeling? Jen went through such intense chemo when she was 11 and 12 that she probably can't have any and she is getting too old now anyway! I will gladly give up the grankids for the life of my daughter!
