Were the cream sections done with continuous quilting, or did you backtrack/tie off? I agree with others - the quilting really softens and adds a lot of interest to this beautiful quilt! Great job! I don't know about you, but I tend to produce a more beautiful product when I can do my own thing. Otherwise I feel limited and I'm not as happy in the end. To answer some questions-- The cream block design was continuous--I stitched CCs on the inside points, then the CCs between the points, stitching inside the block and doing the curls, back to the same point, and finishing at the beginning point. The design is a (large) Pineapple block--a variation of a log cabin. I had a U2U requesting a photo of the border--I will try to get a shot. (I stitched a curvey continuous design in each goose and filled the cream border with medium-density back-and-forth C's.) Thanks again! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
