Quilting Heidi
Darlene it came out gorgeous! I'm glad you did the SID around the circles because you're right it needed it. I always end up doing the same thing. I know I don't get paid for it but I just can't help myself.
Darlene Epp
Thanks gals! I loved Joan's ideas about using a contrasting thread in the dark areas, but had to be careful not to steal the show with the quilting. She's selling the pattern and the class, not necessarily my quilting, so I needed to take the "supporting" role, not the lead.
witha'K'quilting
Absoultely stunning quilting! your quilting is so soft compared to the pattern cover picture. I love it.
seakitten
Gorgeous! And coming at just the right time for me; our LQS just had a Judy Niemeyer class, so I already have two lined up to quilt, & may get a couple more. The pattern we did is "Desert Sky", a simpler one, without the flying geese, but all your ideas are very helpful to me. Thanks Darlene, & everyone else who chimed in!
