LinneaMarie
OOOOHHHH What a sweetie pie!! My German Shepherd always sat on my lap in our big conversion van............when she was a puppy. The she got big and still tried to climb on me. It didn't work and she'd look at me with pathetic, sorrowful eyes. Like saying, "How come I don't fit anymore?" JustSewSimple
I can think of no better way to spend an afternoon! How precious is he? Surely you are not going to give him up one day. That's why husband doesn't like for me to foster; he know I couldn't give them up.
kimmiequilts
He looks like my Daisy but I have to say it's my son's German Shepherd, Bandit who likes to be a lap dog! She is a very large lap dog! :D

Terri C.
This is why I tell my DH if we ever get another dog it has to be a small one because that is where I love for them to be, right up on my lap. Gotta love'm big or small.

lakequilter
What a sweetie! We have an 80 pound golden who still thinks he should sit on my lap and also be wrapped in a towel and carried around after his bath. I may not have told him he was a dog when he was younger:)

kennan100
Love it! My sister's golden does this to me and to my BIL. she meets me at the door, I have to stop and do tummy rubs before I can take another step, then, whne I get in the door and put down what ever is in my hands, she raises up and puts her paws on my arm for kisses. Then she runs over to the sofa and waits dfor me to sit down and promptly climbs up and pins me down. I have to rub and pet and kiss awhile before she thinks she's loved me enough to let me get up! this is a 120lb Golden I'm talking about! Love those dogs! Robin
That is a precious picture! I can't imagine anyone ever giving that beautiful dog up. He looks like he is plenty comfortable at your house.
CindyT
Love it! My cocker only is a lap dog in the vehicles, and of course the new puppy was only a lap dog the first day. She'd rather lay at my feet than in my lap, but she still wants to be touching you...like our doberman was a "velcro" dog.
Little House Creations
What an adorable picture! I have a Border Collie who wants to be a lap dog as well . . . doesn't work very well but he keeps trying.

sammi357
Dh says you got the 'wrong end' of that dog! lol! Our 'lap dog' was 127 lbs of Shepherd and Rottie. He never was really small, and he used to sleep cradled in my nightgown when I'd sit cross legged over the heating vent in the floor. Sure miss the big doofus. s
