lakequilter
This is a customer quilt that I just finished. She is a rather out of the box quilter, this quilt started with a needlework picture she found in a second hand store. She thought it would not be good to put in the quilt unprotected, so she covered the center picture with a fine woven fabric. She then wanted the picture outlined when quilted so that the picture would show. Of course, you could not really see the picture to quilt it so it was pretty much guess work. There were a also 3 D waves, a back that is upholstery fabric, with borders sewn on both ends to make it long enough...you get the picture. She wanted me to define her inspiration???? Anyway, my first attempt at thread painting. Thanks for looking. (BTW, the black spot on the pictures was on my camera lense, not the quilt). She just picked up the quilt and LOVED it. That makes it all worthwhile for me:)
