cmoore1223
The lady in the picture pieced this quilt when she was 15 yrs. old in 1924. Her daughter wanted it quilted and I was happy to be able to finish it while she's still alive. Thanks for looking.

Dustee
Oh so sweet. I bet she was happy to see it quilted. It's always a joy to make someone happy with a quilt they have made and to think she made this 88 years ago. Beautiful quilt. I would like to see a closer look at the quilting. I have a double wedding ring I want to quilt and would love to get some ideas.

Beachside Quilter
That picture is priceless, Coleen! What a wonderful thing to have finally finished something that was started so long ago! I'm sure she has many memories of her piecing as a young girl and stories to tell of where the fabrics came from! Wow, what a precious treasure! vtquilter52
the quilting is wonderful, if she was 15 when she made it and its 88 now, than she would have to be 103 is that right.
