doodlebug Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 ok, i have it done!!! it took 14.5 hrs, i stopped counting at 100 thread changes (i changed with each pass). it was done all free motion. i did use rulers for the straight lines. thanks for all the feed back when i was quilting it...there's a detail pic at the end of the thread... PattyJo Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 Shannon - in your first post you mentioned that the frame of the star would be the only feathers and I wondered about that, then when you posted the pic of the star and what you are going to do there, I highly agree with everyone else about the use of the feathers in the frame because you are also including the feathers in the star points and it just makes more sense!!
