Butterfly
Hi everyone. My name is Jessica and I'm brand new to this group and to long-arming too. I just bought a Freedom SR and am having so much fun practicing on it. I'm starting an LA business and hope to be taking in quilts after another week or so of practice. I have found that I love to work from the front of the machine where I can use my imagination. I definitely need a lot more practice doing pantographs. I mistakenly thought that those would be easier than working from the front. I'm glad to be part of this group and looking forward to getting to know all of you. Luvstoquilt
Hi Jessica, I just joined the forum. I have an HQ16 and just started on the front. THEN--tried a panto in the back. It was horribly hard...lol. It looked like a drunk was driving the machine.

Butterfly
Thank you for your warm welcome. I am so encouraged by all of you. I've been practicing on plain fabric so far but hope to work on a small wall hanging this week. I'll see if I can figure out how to post a picture of it...if I dare.!? Beachside Quilter
Jessica: You can do a search on the forum for "posting pictures". I haven't done it yet, but there is a lot of information from experienced users (not me!) Would love to see your pics!
