Nettie
I just finished this one last night. The pattern is from a Fons and Porter magazine. The customer just wanted a garden look quilted on it. She was happy when she picked it up this morning. Janette
Darlene Epp
No wonder your customer was happy! I'd be over-the-moon happy with quilting like that! VERY creative work. You've turned a cute little wall hanging into a unique piece of art!

PattyJo
Beautiful work Janette. I love how you changed the designs as you went up the quilt. The leaves are great and really stand out in the green thread on the white background. Some very good quilting and I couldn't imagion your customer being anything except HAPPY! Nettie
Thanks for all the nice compliments!! I did use some stencils here and there but most was freehand.........ONLY because I had to get it done and had no idea on what to do. In my usual fashion, I closed my eyes and just went for it, making quilting decisions as I stitched. I must say that you all have been my inspiration....I have very little self confidence in my quilting abilities and even as my business slowly grows, I am so unsure as I begin every customer quilt. The discussions on this forum and the encouragement everyone gives really help any of us who just aren't sure!!!! Thanks so much to each and every one of you!!!!!
