Katydids
I'm thrilled to have this one finally done. Feels like a monkey off my back! With the boo boo I made, I had to remove it for 2 weeks while I "unstitched" my boo boo. I was inspired by JoAnn Hoffmans lonestar pictures, so stitched that in the lonestar area. Ditched the spikes in the body of the quilt. Background meanderings in the orange and green areas and a spikey feathery meander in the outer border areas. Definately did not want to ditch all those spikes!!

Hollyrw
Wow Wow Wow! That is fabulous. I've been looking at it and trying to figure out the stitch path in the diamonds. How did you get from one to the next? Ah ha! You posted the close up while I was typing this. I see it now.

Katydids
Wow, thank you all for the great comments. Jeanne, it is 86" square and it is a customers quilt. Sylvia, I don't know what you call it. It is just a spin on the CC. It is not my design. I was inspired by others I have seen. It is freehand. Thank you all again. The customer picks it up later today. Hopefully she won't "faint" when she sees the bill!

IBQLTN2
Mary Beth this quilt looks like one from Jan Krantz book, I bet it was inspired by some of the pictures in that book. I bet she puts this one in a show and wins lots of ribbons. Hopefully if she does Patty will get credit for the quilting.
