DoryJM Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 Okay, they did come from our little two-county fair, but still...I'm thrilled!! One quilt was entered in the Professionally Quilted category and she got a FIRST PLACE!! And the second was the Opportunity Quilt that I quilted for our guild (you may remember the original post "Help me find the stars") that was my first feather attempt on a "real" quilt. That quilt won Best in its Division...whatever that was. (Tickets are available if anyone wants some and here's a picture of some of the quilting.) I was out of town this year for the fair, so I missed it:( I would have loved actually seeing the ribbons on those quilts and knowing I had part in it.
