LinneaMarie
Hey, I've got one that is a flannel sheet!! I think she left it piled in the dryer for a few days before I got it. I told her $25.00 extra to press, trim and square it. She said bring it back. I said NOOO problem! She can have it! In your case, even pressing can't help! Bonnie
Where I come from we have wire stretchers to make the wire long enough or tight enough on a fence. Wonder if they make a fabric stretcher as well...... Man that has got to be the funniest thing this week I have seen....not to you I'm sure with deadlines and such, but you will laugh in time at that as well. quiltmonkey
Carol... Oh brother! that one takes the cake. Obviously she was careless and not paying attention.... It's fun to laugh at our customers sometimes, isn't it?

This one is better than the one that sent about 10-12 pieces of batting for me to "pat" together for her quilt. Geesh!!! Maybe I shouldn't show stuff like this What will the new long-armers think???:o

witha'K'quilting
I just received 2 quilt tops from a lady to quilt...looked like she wadded them up in her arms and stuffed them in a totebag...like some people do with fitted sheets who can't fold them! But..wow...I can at least press them! This is funny. Thanks for sharing!!
ffq-lar
Not only does it have an "interesting" shape with lovely "freeform" edges--I bet she didn't pre-wash it and the whole mess will end up pink with the first washing!! Thanks for sharing--I'm sure the newbies understand that this is the exception to the rule. One of my favorite quotes from "Field of Dreams" sums up being prepared for the curve balls your customers send your way... "Look for low and away. But watch out for in your ear.":P:P
sewlinzi
Nice! It would be tempting to just use it and see what the customer thinks of that!
bobbi
What a lucky girl you are! Think I'd be having a little chat with her about preparing the quilt top, the backing and batting!!!!

quiltinginthecountry
Carol, I'm a newbie and I'm still laughing. I love all the trials and errors you talented ladies go through. I hope one day, I will be as good and will be sharing my stories with you. I'm still in the P.P.P. mode. Thanks and keep them coming.
April W
Did she actually send enough fabric for the back? Or is that just leftover from making the back and she forgot to send what you needed?

lyonden
This quilt wasn't large but the picture only shows half the backing. Bob has the other half folded over. Yes, there was enough. I just find some of these things funny.
