ffq-lar
May I have your sympathy? Last quilt before Christmas....
ffq-lar
I should add--vintage DWR--probably thirties-hand pieced and in OK shape--a few frayed seams and some staining. My customer added the lilac colored border. It's the wonkiest! Plus I am too afraid to touch it with starch and an iron. I'll post my progress--wish me luck! witha'K'quilting
If anyone can nail this quilt down..it is you linda. You will do just fine.
SandraC
I don't know why, but as soon as I looked at the picture, the phrase "lions and tigers and bears, oh my!!!" ran thru' my head!!! I wish you good luck and can't wait to see what magic you perform!
JustSewSimple
Well, IMHO the lilac wasn't helpful. It's a good thing they didn't bring that baby to me-I'd still be running. I can not wait to see what magic you make with it. When you post pics, please include pics of your magic wand and where you bought it.
CindyT
Sprinkle a little fairy dust before you tackle this one and your magic wand should work just fine! I bet it's a masterpiece when you finish with this one.

Dave-Jane
Actually, I was hearing Elmer Fudd saying " Be Quiet, Be very, very Quiet - I'm hunting wabbits". This quilt does need a shot of "fairy" dust from Elmer's gun - but I bet you can do it Linda!!!! Be sure to give us the after pictures!!! And the Grasshopper says, " Nothing a couple of 2 X 4's and 12 inch batting won't fix" Jane

LadyLake
Thank you for the good first of the morning laugh, Linda. You are a saint to accept this, but I know you have a plan of tackle!
lisae
OH MY!!! You have your work cut out for you, Linda! I think Sharon Schamber does just starch, no steam to tame fullness...might be worth a try. Good luck! Can't wait to see what you do with it. gaildrake
Linda; One thing you must learn is that the Christmas season somehow brings stress in our lives. But YOU. . . I will be praying for you . But then again, I know you will do wonders on that quilt and the customer must somehow know that!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas. Whatever you get paid for that quilt job, be sure you spend it at the local tavern and celebrate IT'S DONE !!!!!!!

If you want to see what I started with and how it came out you can jump on my webshots at http://community.webshots.com/user/QuiltedLines. I think it's the last album. But I'm sure what you do will be all the more fabulous and yes, we want "after" pictures.
LFQuilts
Linda, I know that you will work wonders. Just in case, ask for the magic wand back from Barb M. I know it took a magic wand to fix the last one she worked on. Best wishes. Lynn
