witha'K'quilting
Hi all. I got back tonight from salt lake with sven and cheryl. Sven still has great management of his diabetes. His doctor wishes she could clone his attitude to give to other kids his age. He gets to try a new style lancet. Much thinner. So far...he likes it. Less pain when poking his sore fingers. I also, cheryl had her eyes examined for the second time since the accident. The first time...she had some vision loss. That was one month ago. Yesterday, they checked...and vision had returned to normal! The doc said that the eyebone did its job and protected and saved her eye. No bone fracture..and the eye has healed from the trauma it received. We are so relieved, especially my husband. He needed to hear this great news. Janette
Great news Kristina, that is such a relief for you all. Also your son sounds like he has agreat attitude towards his diabetes. I was so relieved that my children were not in the car with me last June when I was crashed into. The pain I have had in my neck and back since, I would not wish for my children to be suffering at all.

Stagecl
Wonderful news! Car accidents are no fun. Having been in one, where my DH was driving a VW Beetle and me in the passenger seat...needless to say the car was totaled from a head on crash when the other person crossed into our lane. We were lucky.
