Laura Farnham
Here's another one I recently worked on. The Pattern was MoonGlow and boy was it FUN once I figured out how to quilt it. The colors were to die for!!! We wanted to put Feathers into it, and emphasize the Star Blocks. But figuring out how to pull it all together was a litlly challenging. so I turned to my go to desighn, and did Straight line in the Connecting "Sashing". I love the way 1/4" straight line looks. The feathers with the extra Tendrils just looked fun!! I used Quilters Dream Black Poly Batting With Glide Thread in matching colors on top and Magna Classics in the Bobbin!! (LOVE THEM!!) As Always, thanks for looking!!! Laura ps, I deleted one pic from my last post and resized super small in Paint, and could attach 3 pics!!! and I still have space for more!!! WHOO HOO!!! epprog
You to gorgeous work. I also have this quilt in my stash of personal quilt tops yet to be done. I sewed it years ago and then wanted to wait until I got "good" at using my Millenium and now I haven't had time! Thanks for posting as it has inspired me to dig it out. I love what you did! I will perhaps have to make my borders a bit bigger as I have a bigger bed now but it will be fun! Cher
