But this is what is happening.........our bankruptcy is to be final but they not only want our house and everything else we own......but they now want to liquidate and take my business. The attorney meets with them, whoever THEM are, tomorrow but tells us they have NO grounds to do this. I sure hope he is right. I am scared to death because now my business is actually making money and my clients are returning and I keep getting new clients all the time. I feel like I am living a nightmare and can't wake up. They know; they are the specialists. Your lawyer will fight for you. I agree, it doesn't make any common sense to liquidate a business that brings income and money in (which is exactly what is needed). I think of you often, dear friend and know I always keep you in my prayers. Think positive. You will overcome all of these terrible things and you will survive. Many people have. You can too. I certainly will be praying for your finances and that the Lord will salvage your business and equip you with what you need to get back on your feet financially. It can happen to anyone, his job was a good one, but it fell through as the economy sank. A year later the home is nearly sold, a short sale, the bank it happy not to lose so much, the family has moved and may still be able to get another loan someday. They were told to roll over their business loan on their home loan, which is something you should not do. That is why they lost their home. Hang in there, let us know how this all goes. Also the opportunity to evaluate our own situations BEFORE the bankruptcy or other unforseen negative financial things hit. Everyone is in a whole different world these days financially speaking.
